BMWs boxxers have never really done it for me. plus the whole weird tele-lever front end.

this has regular forks and new, updated Wasser boxer. and looks a hell of a lot nicer then the older R1200S’s did.

which one? The ducati has no direct competitor to the R1200RS (top image)

the lower picture: based on the R-nine t. The BMW will be more reliable, more refined, and work properly. the ducti will be a little more finicky, hot in traffic, not want to run as much, be more expensive to maintain....

think of it as dating a GORGEOUS, but high maintenance girl (the ducati) VS someone a little more average looking, but easier to get along with(the BMW).

With how much riding I do, i HATE downtime, so i’ve have to go with the BMW. Some want the more visceral experience of the ducati, and that’s totally okay too. Just be prepared to pay for it.

exactly, I think they priced the R nine T out of it’s prospective market. Curious on where prices fall in a few years on the used market. I love the one pictured, but still like the SCR 950 more.

Yeah. A lot of guys will hot rod a 1300 with the diff from the 1800. It’s quicker, but it increases your cruising rpm to the point that your mileage can go to shit.

And I dropped the rear end on myself in flip flops once when I had the shocks off. It is heavy. Bulletproof, but heavy.
